Rising heating bills
Old single-glazed and blown double-glazed units let heat leak straight through the glass and around the frame. Your boiler works harder every winter to hold the same room temperature.

VEKA-approved profiles, warm-edge glazing and a MTC-certified fitting team — you get a warmer, quieter, more secure home for a fixed price, with 10 years of cover behind it.

A uPVC window replacement is a full envelope job, not a swap of the moving parts. We measure the aperture on site, manufacture each frame to the exact opening, then remove your existing windows, prepare the reveals, fit the new units level and plumb, seal them properly inside and out, and hand you the paperwork that keeps the guarantee live.
It's the right service for homeowners with draughty timber windows, misted 1990s double-glazing, single-glazed frames that fail Building Regs, or landlords who need a compliant, low-maintenance solution across a portfolio. We work on everything from Valleys terraces in Blackwood and Risca to modern detached homes across Newport.
You need a proper installer — not a supply-only quote and a handyman — because a uPVC window is only as good as the fit. Squareness, packers, DPC treatment, trickle vents, sealant grade and internal beading all decide whether the window performs for two years or twenty. That's the difference we're paid for.
Failing windows rarely fail dramatically. They fail slowly — and the cost stacks up quietly in the background.
Old single-glazed and blown double-glazed units let heat leak straight through the glass and around the frame. Your boiler works harder every winter to hold the same room temperature.
Perished seals let water track inside. That water rots timber sub-sills, blackens plasterboard reveals and starts mould on curtains and walls — problems that cost far more to remediate than to replace the window.
Pre-2005 uPVC often has single-cam locks and outdated euro cylinders that snap in seconds. Insurers increasingly want to see modern multi-point locking and PAS 24-tested hardware.
The most expensive mistake we see is a bargain install from an unregistered fitter — no ASSURE registration, no IBG, no proper paperwork. When something fails and the trader vanishes, the homeowner pays twice.
One of the family visits, measures every aperture, checks the reveals and talks through profile, colour and glazing options — usually inside a week of your enquiry.
Written quote back to you in 1–2 days, itemised so you can see exactly what you're paying for. Valid for 30 days, and honoured beyond that if supplier pricing hasn't moved.
50% deposit on order. Frames are manufactured to your survey dimensions and quality-checked before they leave the factory. Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks.
Our MTC-certified team fits the windows, seals inside and out, disposes of your old units and leaves the property clean. Balance of 50% due on the day, once you're happy.
Install is ASSURE-notified for Building Regs compliance and covered by a 10-year product guarantee plus Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG) — 5-year cover on the glass.
Argon-filled, warm-edge double glazing dramatically cuts heat loss and stops the cold draught you feel sitting near an old window.
Sealed, gasketed frames with the right glass spec take the edge off road, rail and neighbour noise — noticeable within days of install.
Multi-point locking systems, internally beaded glazing and anti-snap cylinders as standard. Insurers like them; opportunists don't.
uPVC doesn't rot, warp or need repainting. An occasional wipe with warm soapy water is the entire maintenance schedule.
Once we survey and quote, that's the price. No 'while we're here' add-ons, no invented extras once the old frames are out.
Guarantee is backed by IBG — if the business ever couldn't honour it, an independent insurer would. That's the paperwork that actually matters.

uPVC is a category, not a specification. The right window depends on the property, the aspect, and how the room's used.
We're VEKA Approved Installers and also fit Profile 22 systems. Both are UK-manufactured, multi-chambered profiles engineered for British weather. Choose flush-sash for period properties, sculptured or chamfered for modern homes.
Standard is Low-E argon-filled double glazing with warm-edge spacers. Upgrades include acoustic laminate for busy roads, obscure patterns (Pilkington range) for bathrooms, and toughened glass where Building Regs require it — near floor level, near doors, above stairs.
White, cream, Chartwell green, anthracite grey, black, Irish oak, rosewood and colour-matched RAL foils. Frames can be one colour outside and white inside — common on rear elevations.
Casement (side-hung, top-hung), tilt-and-turn (easier cleaning upstairs, wider egress), sliding sash for period properties, and fixed picture units where you want maximum glass and minimum frame.
Since June 2022, replacement windows in England and Wales must include background ventilation in most rooms. We specify compliant trickle vents at survey — no surprises on install day.
For landlords, HMOs and small commercial projects we also specify enhanced-security PAS 24 units and fire-egress opening lights where required. Talk to us about the scope on survey.
Cost depends on the number of windows, the size, the glazing spec and any structural work needed to the reveals. We give a fixed, itemised written quote after a free on-site survey — no 'from £' bait pricing.
Typical lead time is 4–6 weeks from the day we receive your 50% deposit, so the frames can be manufactured to your survey dimensions.
Most 6–10 window homes are completed in 1–2 days with our own MTC-certified fitting team. Larger properties or bay windows may run to 3 days.
10 years on the uPVC frames and mechanisms, 5 years on the sealed glass units, plus an Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG) so the cover holds even in the unlikely event the business couldn't honour it.
Yes — every fitter on our team is MTC (Minimum Technical Competency) certified, and we're ASSURE registered so every replacement is properly notified for Building Regs.
Yes. We remove and responsibly dispose of every frame we take out. You don't organise a skip and you don't chase a scrap merchant.
For window replacement, no — our ASSURE registration lets us self-certify the work, and we issue you the compliance certificate on completion.
Yes — plenty of clients specify uPVC upstairs (cost-effective, warm) and aluminium bi-folds or lanterns on the ground floor (slim sightlines). We survey and quote the whole project together.
No — finance isn't currently offered. Payment is 50% deposit on order and 50% balance on the day of completed installation. All standard payment methods accepted, including credit cards.
We install across Newport, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Tredegar and the wider Gwent valleys. If you're within an hour of our Blackwood workshop, we're likely covering you.
We supply and install made-to-measure uPVC entrance doors, back doors and French door sets. Every door is manufactured to the exact aperture we survey, in the style, colour and glazing you specify, and fitted by our own team — not passed to a subcontractor.
Learn moreAluminium windows are the specification behind almost every architect-led refurbishment and modern rear extension we work on. Thermally broken profiles combine slim frames, huge glass area, exceptional structural strength and any colour you want — a combination uPVC and timber simply can't match.
Learn moreA composite door is a solid, layered door — a GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) or timber-faced skin bonded to a high-density insulated core, with a reinforced structural frame. The result is a door that reads and feels far more substantial than uPVC and requires none of the maintenance of timber.
