Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all quotations, supply and installation work carried out by Essential Glazing Products Ltd (company number 15440311). By accepting a quote or paying a deposit you agree to these terms.
1. Quotations
Quotations are itemised and typically issued within one to two working days of survey. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Where supplier pricing has not moved we will normally honour the original price beyond that period.
2. Deposit and payment
A 50% deposit is required when the order is placed, with the remaining 50% due on the day installation is completed. We accept all standard payment methods, including credit cards. We do not offer finance at this time.
3. Lead times
Because every product is made to measure, typical lead time from order confirmation to installation is four to six weeks. Lead times may vary with supplier availability and will be confirmed at order.
4. Survey and access
You are responsible for providing safe access to the property on install day and for moving furniture, blinds, curtains and personal items away from working areas. If access is not available on the agreed date, reasonable rescheduling costs may apply.
5. Installation and making good
Our team will make good around new frames to a standard finish. Redecoration, tiling, plastering beyond making good, and electrical works are not included unless expressly quoted.
6. Guarantees
- 10-year guarantee on uPVC, composite and aluminium products.
- 5-year guarantee on glass units.
- Every installation is covered by an Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG).
Guarantees cover materials and workmanship in normal domestic use and exclude accidental damage, tampering, misuse and normal wear.
7. Insurance
We hold £1M public liability insurance and full employers' liability insurance for our team. Proof is available on request.
8. Accreditations
We are a VEKA Approved Installer and are registered with ASSURE. Every installation complies with the relevant Building Regulations for the works we carry out.
9. Cancellation and consumer rights
Consumers have the right to cancel bespoke orders in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, subject to the statutory exceptions for made-to-measure goods. Details will be provided with your order acknowledgement.
10. Complaints
If something isn't right, please contact us on 01495 825934 or by email at info@essentialglazingproducts.co.uk. We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 28 days.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
